Arrangement

1994
Thesiger, Amanda
Arrangement is part of a body of work, which has evolved since the early 1990's. The works of Amanda Thesiger evolve intuitively. She will put down the paint and, through constant reworking, look to explore the surface. The artist strives to capture tension and movement between forms within the composition. Thesiger studied painting at Maidstone College of Art and the Royal Academy Schools, where she won the Royal Academy Schools Turner Gold Medal and the Creswick Prize for Drawing, 1988.
