Threads of History will see twelve textile pieces from leading artists displayed throughout the Tudor house and garden, contrasting the historic textiles on display with those created by contemporary artists.

Rachael Trimm from Greyfriars House and Garden says: ‘The art that we’ll have on loan will work with and enhance the story that we tell at Greyfriars. The pieces will be displayed throughout the house and garden, becoming an integral part of the visitor journey and adding to the overall experience here.

Artists include Alek O., Claire Barclay, Christine Borland, David Connearn, Tracey Emin, Anya Gallaccio, Louise Hopkins, Peter Peri, Simon Periton, Kathy Prendergast, Mark Wallinger and Richard Woods
