Call for Submissions

23 July 2015

In 2016, the Arts Council Collection will be celebrating 70 years. To mark this occasion we are seeking to acquire a small number of significant, stand-alone works which have the potential to have a legacy of strong demand for extensive loan and touring around the country in years to come. Given the short timetable for completion (March 2016) projects which are already in development are sought. Arts Council England funded organisations (National Portfolio Organisations and Major Partner Museums) are invited to submit proposals for major new visual arts commissions which will be acquired into the Collection.

Applications must be made to the Arts Council Collection by mid-day 13 September 2015. For further information on the brief, selection process, timeline and how to apply please download the Commissioning Brief below.
