New Loan Scheme for London Schools launched in November.

29 October 2010

Managed by the Southbank Centre’s Learning and Participation team, the scheme enables five schools enrolled on the Southbank’s  ‘HayWired’ network to have the opportunity to borrow one to two works of art for one year from the Arts Council Collection for display in their schools.  Seen as part of each school’s wider learning and curriculum development, it is planned to increase the number of participating schools in the next three years. Earlier this month, Teachers were able to meet with Collection Curators and view works of art at our London store.  This will be followed by a formal application process and the successful schools will be announced in February 2011.
