My Collection

My Collection invites audiences to join a national conversation about collecting in its many forms. Exhibition visitors, young and old, are encouraged to think about what collecting means to them and share their own collections and memories of collecting via social media. My Collection is an intergenerational engagement project that explores the social and cultural histories common to collecting in both the public and the private realm.

We want visitors of all ages to share their own collections with us as we build a picture of collecting across the 70-year history of the Arts Council Collection.

Get Involved

Do you have a collection? What do you collect and why? Who gets to see your collection? Do you ever let people borrow things from your collection?

All collections start from somewhere and we want to know what you collect and why?
