An Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme Exhibition.
Keep Being Amazing features artworks and visitor activities that represent the positive values of Holiday Fun in a colourful and energetic celebration. The exhibition will include works by Tracey Emin, Paula Rego and Oliver Beer.
Holiday Fun was launched in 2017 with an aim to help children stay happy, healthy and creative, and to provide a fun space for families to interact and socialise. Since then, the programme has grown to be a treasured asset within the local community, securing its place firmly within the heart of Firstsite.
Part of Firstsite’s mosaic gallery will be transformed into a colourful Making Space – designed by artist Morag Myerscough – for the duration of the exhibition, with a variety of drop-in and pre-bookable activities, all related to the artworks on display.
Keep Being Amazing is the last of a three-year series of exhibitions that have been produced by Firstsite as part of the Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme.
