Anish Kapoor Flashback

Anish Kapoor: Flashback is the second title in a series of publications inviting artists to revisit their earlier works in the Arts Council Collection and to use them as starting points for reflection on their wider, subsequent practice.

Published to celebrate a major exhibition organised by the Arts Council Collection, Anish Kapoor: Flashback presents the artist's vibrant early works alongside more recent sculptures, including the seamless mirror forms and monumental wax pieces that have secured his international reputation. This highly illustrated volume features a new interview with Kapoor, in which he discusses the developing artistic vocabulary of his forty-year career, and a survey essay by Michael Bracewell, as well as an illustrated chronology and inventory of works by Kapoor in British public collections.
